Every Sunday, our dedicated teams of volunteers come together with a shared mission—to actively participate in God's mission (Missio Dei) by fulfilling the Living Hope Community mandate expressed through the four disciplines: To Love, Grow, Teach, and Serve. Anchored in our vision of reviving community through making disciples, we gather within the uplifting atmosphere of our Sunday evening worship service. Here, we unite kids of all ages and their families, fostering an inclusive space for collective learning, creativity, and personal growth. Meet our Sunday School Leaders.
Debra Jallim leads our delightful Kidz Connect program, catering to children aged 6-11. This group of enthusiastic and dedicated youngsters gathers every Sunday at 5:00 PM during our Sunday service.
As part of our commitment to God's command to diligently teach children, we strive to encourage and empower them to follow the path of the Lord. At Living Hope Community, our mission is to collaborate with parents, working together to equip and instruct their children in rooting themselves in God's word and witnessing their growth in faith. We firmly believe that instilling God's word from an early age establishes a solid foundation for children to continue walking in the ways of the Lord, ensuring they do not stray from their faith (Deut. 6:4-9).
Dr. RC Sproul said it best "I don’t think there’s a mandate to be found in sacred Scripture that is more solemn than this one. That we are to teach our children the truth of God’s Word is a sacred, holy responsibility that God gives to His people. And it’s not something that is to be done only one day a week in Sunday school. We can’t abdicate the responsibility to the church. The primary responsibility for the education of children according to Scripture is the family, the parents. And what is commanded is the passing on of tradition." Dr. RC Sproul
